Plastisol inks are formulated using pigment and resin particles suspended in a plasticiser medium, which lacks volatile components (safe to use under heat). The ink must be heated to cure, resulting in a solid film adhering to the fabric. Typically, curing a plastisol print occurs relatively quickly (10-60 seconds) at temperatures over 160 °C (320 °F), resulting in the formation of a continuous film that sits on the fabric. Plastisol inks are prized for their adaptability and longevity, making them a favoured choice for a wide range of applications. This ink method is used in band t-shirts and commercially made shirts. These transfers must not be done with an iron or easy press. They need a pressure adjuster and press plate must cover while design. Any questions please ask.
LIGHTS ONLY-
These prints can be printed onto any fabric but they must be light coloured as the don’t have the white backing on the design.
ANY COLOUR-
These prints can go on any fabric of any colour as the prints have a back layer of white ink before the glue layer. This will make the colour stand out from any backing including reds and blacks without any discoloration of the design.
